Solid Waste

Diverting as much solid waste from landfill is the backbone or a recycling system.  Reducing use of items that generate waste, recycling judiciously and taking advantage of municipal composting systems are all great methods.  Your spent grain farmer can take more than just grain back to the farm so just ask if yeast and spent hops are of interest.  Reuse your mylar for trash liners as an example.  Reduce-Reuse-Recycle:  Simple because it is!
