Portland is hosting the 2014 MLS All Star Game on August 6, 2014 and the city will have a week’s worth of celebration around the event. This is the first major-league All Star game of any sport to take place in Portland and it will be broadcasted to 150 countries.

The Hawthorne Boulevard Business Association (HBBA) has been awarded a grant to host Kick Kick Score, a 9-hole mini fut-golf kicking course on Sunday, August 3rd from 11 am – 6 pm. The HBBA has chosen Girls Inc of Northwest Oregon as the non-profit beneficiary.

The Game
There will be nine fut-golf holes along Hawthorne Boulevard hosted by nine various establishments. Think miniature golf, but with soccer balls. For more details about the day of the event, visit our Participants section. The offical course map and event rules will be posted later this summer.

Participants: What to Expect
Playing 9-holes should take approximately 90 minutes to complete. Keep this in mind if you’re planning on attending the Portland Thorns’ match Sunday evening at 7 pm.
Participants will be assigned a starting hole to maintain the flow of kickers along the courses. You may start any time after 11 AM, but no later than 2 PM.
Discounts on food, drinks and retail items along the Boulevard by participating establishments.
Wear your favorite soccer gear and comfortable shoes. There’s a lot of walking involved!
Tie breaker shoot-out between 5:30 – 6:00 PM (if necessary).
Awards ceremony at 6 PM.
