Buoy celebrates new distribution deal with Eugene events this weekend at The Bier Stein and the KLCC Beer Festival.
ASTORIA, OR – Buoy Beer Co. announces it is expanding their distribution by partnering with Bigfoot Beverages to reach southern and central Oregon.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Buoy Beer Co. and the opportunity to bring their award winning beers to the craft consumers of the Southern Willamette Valley, South Coast, Central Oregon and Douglas County,” says Eric Forest, Bigfoot Beverages owner. “Buoy Beer is not only an excellent beer to be consumed at home or a local pub, but also a one-of-a-kind place to visit. From their location on the mouth of the Columbia River to the first class food combined with their unique in-pub Sea Lion viewing, Buoy Beer Co. is truly a special place. It is our honor to be working with them within our Bigfoot territory.”
Marking their 2 year anniversary this Spring, Buoy Beer Company now distributes throughout the majority of Oregon and Southwest Washington. “People around the state have continuously asked if they can get our beer in their hometown because our brew team of Kevin, Kirk, Austen, Andrew, Dan and Wally continue to make great beer that people want to drink. We’re excited to partner with a standout company in Bigfoot Beverages to accomplish our goal of pushing distribution throughout our home state of Oregon. The team at Bigfoot aligns with our values and we’re happy to add them to our small list of dedicated partners, including Clatsop Distributing and Maletis Beverage, that are growing with us to supply beer in Oregon and Southwest Washington,” mentions Buoy Beer Company co-founder David Kroening.
To celebrate the new distribution area, Buoy Beer Company is returning to the KLCC Beer Festival later this week with their flagship brews, Buoy IPA and Buoy Czech Pils. The party doesn’t end, or even start there. The night before the festival, on February 11th, Buoy Beer Company will be hosting their Eugene Distribution kick-off at The Bier Stein from 5-8pm. Buoy’s founder will be tapping its flagship beers, plus a few special Astoria taproom only beers including Buoy’s first ever barrel aged beer, an Imperial Whiskey Barrel Stout.
“Bier Stein employees and customers have been enjoying Buoy IPA and Buoy Czech Pils for a few months now. With a trade route opened, we are excited to have a regular supply of its delicious standard lineup, and look forward to showcasing its special release beers,” says Aaron Brusatt of The Bier Stein.
“The Bier Stein was one of the first spots we got on tap in Southern Oregon and it’s going to be a fun weekend in Eugene giving people their first tastes of both our main line-up and some fun one-offs,” adds Kroening.
