Special October Tour-Meet the Brewer with Carston Haney of Alameda – $85
Sunday, October 6, 1:00 – 5:00 pm
Join Carston Haney, brewer at Alameda Brewing Co., on a tour that will include Alameda’s new SE brewery as well as three other stops in Portland. Carston will start things off at Alameda’s new brewery in SE Portland, a facility that is not generally open to the public. He’ll show off the 20-barrel brewery and sample some of the beers produced there. Next it’s off to Belmont Station, Portland’s largest bottle shop and bar, for beer sampling and the opportunity to purchase bottles to go. The bus then heads to Alameda’s original site, a neighborhood institution in NE and home of their 5-barrel brewery. There Carston will talk through a tasting of more Alameda brews and provide a tour of the brewhouse. After enjoying beer and appetizers the tour visits Landmark Saloon. The Saloon boasts a large patio where the tour will enjoy more beer and some friendly competition playing their outdoor games. Tickets are $85/person and include roundtrip transportation, beer at all four stops, food, brewery tours, pretzel necklace, tasting journal and Pilsner glass. Tour is 21+ with valid ID.
